I have a question about a measurement on a diode that ive tested

I working on a Samsung refrigerator and there is a inverter circuit board that supplies the power to the other boards and compressor. Following the topology and provided technical charts and an onboard diagnostic code generator was telling me the compressor is not activating. So two things it can be the compressor side (yes other components is to take in consideration that involves the function of the compressor witch Ive PASSED) or the PCB. The PCB does the supply of power (120vac..13vdc..5vdc..) And two big caps for the compressor. sansung fridge RSG-307aaw PCB DA92-00215C Power Inverter...

I not getting power to the compressor so started to check all the diodes on the board.. Pretty basic.. But one stood out.. Its not a Zender.. forward bias OK reverse bias it would shoot up to about 4.5 then deplete. I was expecting to deplete with out delay. Is that normal?
